Hey Pete I know you wont read this likely. I grew up watching hockey because I am from Canada. But my father introduced me into playing tennis. When I was 7, I watched my very first tennis match and it was a taping my dad had kept a few months after you played courier at the Aussie Open and won after two sets down. When I saw you cry and the determination to fight back I knew there would be no one else like you. You had this glow around you that doesnt show on federer or nadal or any other player. When I saw you live in Toronto I actually started to cry and it was embarrassing but I didnt care. Now that Im on a scholarship to the states for tennis, I still bring up you as my role model to my fellow teammates and juniors I coach back at my hometown. The way you played on the court and the way you lived off was just so cool. The equipment you played with was even more amazing. How the heck do you play so well with such a high strung racquet. Whats your secret. Anyways, I got a autographed racquet you signed for me once and my brother was never able to play tennis because of his disibility, He passed away this year and I put that racquet in his grave because I know that when hes up in heaven hes gonna be waiting for you and you better have your signature game ready. I hope you read this Pete, you will always have my support in whatever you take on Keep the aces fresh and good luck against Safin on the 20th. Ill be rooting, just keep him running, hes got bad cardio Forever a fan Jon 12 February 2008 - Canada

Hi there!Pete was the biggest Player on the Tour, ever!Even if some current Players can beat his records,it will always be different, because in his time, there was a higher number of very good Players than there is today!I will save the Videos of some of your matches(Pete), to show them to my Son(he is 2,5),and i am sure you will be his Idol too,as you where for me.Geia sou file PETE! 29 January 2008 - GREECE

Wow, it's been a while since I logged onto this site, and it looks BEAUTIFUL! Thank you all for keeping the site up and running so well. Isn't it exciting to see Pete back playing again? And what a great year for him in 2007! I hope to see more of Pete on TV (and maybe live) in 2008! Cheers!
