Replies to common questions

Thank you for taking the time to sign our guestbook. We appreciate your comments and suggestions. Some replies to common questions.

Do you have Pete's address?
Sorry. We are an unofficial site. We have no connection to Pete Sampras. We usually send our greetings and letters through his agent or when a member attends a tournament where Pete is playing (before he retired).

Can those annoying pop-up ads be removed?
We have now moved to a paid host. Enjoy the ad-free site, thanks to our sponsors

Keep those suggestions coming :)

Pete has had a brilliant year, giving all his loyal fans so much excitement and pleasure when winning the Outback Championships against Todd Martin and beating Federer in their third exhibition match - despite being ten years older than him and five years retired! And how wonderful it was to see him inaugurated into the International Tennis Hall of Fame!Let's hope he has another great year in 2008. You're still and always will be The Greatest Pete! Cynthia, UK

Hey you sampraz fans. Just to advice that I’ve been watching some old Pete’s matches available in youtube and it is amazing to find out how alike are both Pete and Roger’s games. I personally love Pete’s game. His backhand, forehand, smash... Its amazing how people forget, they think Roger has developed on his own his game, but for me, no doubt his technique is very much alike as Pete’s. And lets be fair, every player learns from the older players, as I think Pete did from legends as Lendl (and others), who Pete played in the US open 1990 and it’s amazing to see the size of a racket that Lendl was using back in that tournament. I do believe that the main difference with Roger is that Pete showed humanity. That’s what you could see in court. Roger, sure he is human, but it is so easy for him, no mistakes, and no rivals. I say no rivals, name one rival… see Pete’s rivals, great and beautiful players as Courier, Agassi, Becker, Stich, Lendl, McEnroe, Chang… I can quote a few more, players motivated by the desire of greatness (as it was Borg, Connors and well many more in their time). Today doesn’t look very much. It seems more like a business, no fight. Any way, Roger is a great and marvelous player, and it is great to have him around. But as you can see, greatness (I refer to Pete) had to come back and played Roger, because has not been out for a long time.

Hey, you fans, if you have taped matches, please post them in youtube. Would be great to see more of Pete’s

They say exhibition matches are staged, and Roger wasn't supposed to win the 3rd match. I saw the match twice (live and repeat), and I believe you beat him fair and square. I always think you're the very best ever.

Pete, congrats in your recent win over RF. Last week I was in London for the first time and I visited Wimbledon, had my picture taken by your poster. You were always my favorite player, I wish you would come back, but I respect your decision. You have nothing more to prove, you already did.
