Sampras Signs up with the Tennis Channel

Pete Sampras has signed up as an investor and spokesman for the Tennis Channel.
"My main focus is playing. When I have time off, I'll set aside time to help out, " Sampras said.
According to the AP report, joining the cable network which will launch in July is Pete's way of preparing for retirement .
"When I am done playing, I look forward to being a part of this and giving people in the U.S. a pretty good sense of the sport of tennis and helping grow it, " he said. "It's being part of a business and shedding a little light on the sport and my experience. I look at someone like Wayne Gretzky, who has gone from an athlete to a business person."
