Sampras Accepts Wildcard for Adelaide

In preparation for the Australian Open 2002, Pete Sampras has accepted a wildcard entry to the AAPT Championship in Adelaide. This is the first time Pete is playing in this tournament.
The tournament is set to begin on New Year's Eve.
Other entrants to the tournaments are Tim Henman, Marcelo Rios, Nicolas Kiefer, Thomas Enqvist. Mark Philippousis, coming back from injury has also been given a wildcard.
