Congratulation Messages from Fans (Page 2 0f 6)
After Pete Sampras won his 14th Grand Slam title at the US Open, congratulatory messages from the fans were collected through email and through an online guestbook from September 10 - 20, 2002. These online messages were included in the memento book for Pete.

| From someone who was also born August 12, 1971 in Washington D.C.
(I think we were cribmates), CONGRATULATIONS PETE! I didn't think
anyone on earth could survive two consecutive defeats in the U.S.
Open finals and come back to win a 5th Open title 12 YEARS after winning
the first. Then again, I guess nothing's impossible for the greatest
tennis player who ever lived. Your perseverance has inspired millions
around the world to never give up. And for that, we thank you Pete.
